Day 4 Cania Gorge 04.08.22

I went for a 2km solo walk around town early this morning. The grass was very wet and too many dogs on the loose for my liking.

We were in this area last year with Yvonne and Gunther. We stopped again today to check out a few things on the road to Cania Gorge.
Bunyip at Mulgildie.
Silos at Three Moon.
Water tower art.

Murals around Monto.

After some lunch we drove the last 25kms to Cania Gorge.  We have an unpowered sight for the next 3 nights. The weather has been lovely and warm during the day and cool at night.
On-site cabins.

A lot of the walks are accessible from the caravan park which is next to the National Park.

Bird feeding at the Tourist Park.
Pre dinner drinks around the fire with Graham and Gail. Then Mark and I ate our lamb korma beside the fire.

Today we travelled 101kms, taking our total travelled hitched this trip to 387kms.

Reception is almost non existent at the gorge so photos can't be uploaded until a later date.
